NHADA participates in the UNH Sport Industry Conference and Career Fair
On Saturday February 29, 2020, the UNH Sport Industry Conference and Career Fair took place at New Hampshire Hall and the Victory Club. Several New England sport industry vendors took part in the inaugural conference developed by the students on the UNH Sports Careers Club, in conjunction with the UNH Sports Studies program and UNH Wildcats. The NHADA was pleased to be invited and excited to participate.
Several students took the opportunity to inquire about the NHADA and internship opportunities. We shared our membership options as well as tips of how to break into the profession. We also informed them of our upcoming conference in May. The majority of the students present were enrolled at UNH but others from USM, Thomas College and SNHU attended. We were pleased to see the interest in the profession and what these men and women have to offer.
We were very pleased to meet all of the students who came by our table and look forward to returning next year.
Congratulations to the UNH Sports Career Club who did a fantastic job coordinating and pulling off such a great event. Best wishes to those seniors in attendance who are pursuing their career goals.

Did You Know?
The National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) has become the first association to receive accreditation from Cognia (formerly AdvancED). Cognia is the equivalent of New England's Accreditation Team: NEASC.
The initial Accreditation came in February of 2011 after the NIAAA hosted a review team in December of 2010 at the National athletic Directors conference (NADC). Subsequent to that review and recommendation from the team, in early February, the Cognia board of directors granted the NIAAA accreditation status for five years.
Achieving this status has provided significant positive implications for the organization, its member state associations, individual members and our college partners. Everyone in the NIAAA family is extremely proud of this achievement.
It is an accomplishment that is owned by every member of the association. In December of 2015, the NIAAA again hosted a Cognia review team at the NADC. Subsequent to that review, the NIAAA Accreditation status has been renewed for another five years through 2020.
